Meet the Artist!
I am a digital illustrator with a focus on packaging design and advertisement. I enjoy creating work that serves a function, whether to promote or catch the audience’s attention. My style ranges from illustrative to more graphic and straightforward. I work with blocked-in shapes of color with simple rendering on top. My color choices tend to be a mix of muted tones contrasted with small pops of bright colors.
I enjoy coming up with designs that will be used for something. Packaging design is very personal because it’s something that will be physically created and handled by consumers. I love that my art will be used in a physical capacity. It hones back to my love for crafts and making things with my hands. Coming up with layout designs, picking fonts and palettes, and thinking about the whole design process is enjoyable for me because it’s like piecing together parts of a story. Along with my design work, I incorporate illustrative aspects to give it a stylized look intended to stand out from typical modern designed packaging and advertisements. Through my work, I intend to simultaneously tell a story and sell a brand.
